Usage and limits

How local files, saved models, and agent requests use Spectral.

Updated

Local files

Viewer converts supported files on your device. The current file picker accepts files up to 300 MiB. Available memory and model complexity can reduce the practical limit. Follow the sign-in prompt when anonymous access is used.

Saved models

Your account shows the current saved-model allowance. Viewer imports made while signed in and models created through MCP use this allowance. Deleting a model frees its saved-model slot.

A model's file size and saved-model count are different measures. Cloud ingestion currently accepts request bodies up to 50 MiB, so a file that opens locally may produce data too large to save.

Agent requests and downloads

Large model reads transfer more data than small, targeted queries. Request the elements or tables you need, and use pagination where available. Model size, request size, and service controls can limit an operation.

Read the error before retrying a failed operation. Do not repeatedly send the same request after a size or access error.

Current allowances

Use the limits shown in your account and the technical docs. Monthly conversion, MCP, storage-byte, and transfer plans are not offered on this website at present.
